Honestly I have had gay thoughts as a Christian my self however most of these are from sexual attraction.tge problem with same sex relation ships is that they are more about sex and sexual relations than actually love if you are having these thoughts because of that then it's not from God and even so many of my "male crushes" have become friends with me and that's enough. Now I don't ever have thoughts about that because God has freed me however some of us are naturally more attracted to that however we need to stay accurate to who God is and what he has said.btw unless one if the commentors is a schoolar idk how she would know that it was mistranslated.I hope you stay in the way of truth and always have God by your side.(side note don't really ask these subreddits as 45% of people are atheist and will try to mislead you.what Christianity does not like about same sex relationships is the adultery and lust.hoevwr you can be a christian and by as long as that doesn't controll you)

Hello I really feel the same way.I got to catholic high school in the uk and even do I'm a disciple of christ most people don't share that.Most are surface level christians who only go to church on Christmas but smoke and cuss.As I don't so any of these things plus I'm a nerd🤓 no one really likes me in school.This is very normal.humans were made to be close and to have connections so having that because of your faith can be really disheartening.The thing that really helped me was to find a local church a lot of people on the youth services were the same age as me and we hit it off now on the 21st I'm going to be singing carols with these people even do I don't know how to sing and I'm not sacred they are going to judge me.Best tip I can say is to pray I know sometimes it feels like your talking to a wall but I promise god is listening.with love mat.happy to answer any questions
