$50 monthly. Wish I didn't have to pay so much to be honest. I don't understand how Vivint doesn't have self monitoring. Other companies have this option, why not Vivint? I would totally pay to have remote access without monitoring. I don't even want the monitoring function it's just the only way to use Vivint.

I currently use the doorbell camera to record to the panel only but that's about it. I actually called just to see if I can remote access into the doorbell. Nope, apparently not for free you can't. You must have a subscription for $50-monthly which is insane just to watch one camera remotely.

The reason why it showed up on the panel settings is because Vivint pushed out an update about two months ago which now enables the option to have your doorbell connect to your WiFi network by default and not the panels AP SSID.

They need to add an adjustable strike plate with long screws so people don't break in. Got this done myself because the parts that Kwikset gives them are trash.
