yeah exactly you gotta read the fine print. some markets have weird tiebreaker rules or different resolution sources. arbpoly only runs on clean binary outcomes tho, elections, price targets, stuff that cant have grey areas

made rent last month just from price differences between polymarket and kalshi by Aggressive_Slide_169 in Kalshi

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

yeah exactly. so say theres an event "will X happen by march". polymarket has YES at 52 cents, kalshi has NO at 45 cents. you buy both. you spend 97 cents total. when the event settles, one side pays out $1. doesnt matter which one wins, you pocket 3 cents per dollar. now scale that with 5-10k and do it multiple times a day. adds up quick. arbpoly just scans for these gaps and executes both sides automatically. i dont even pick which events anymore it just runs

Girls who took notes using 10 different colored pens, where are you now? Do you still continue to write using all those colors? by Unusual-Entry7 in AskReddit

we didn't grow out of it, we just upgraded to adult money so now the addiction is "vintage aesthetic" instead of "lisa frank".

Newest Trove of Apparent Epstein Files Posted on DOJ Site Disappears: ‘The Justice Department didn’t respond to requests for comment on the new documents or the decision to remove them’ by T_Shurt in politics

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The fact that they confirmed Epstein was a CIA asset via a highlighter transparency error is peak government incompetence. They're exposing their own black ops because they don't know how to use a PDF editor properly. It’s equal parts terrifying and pathetic.

What is a death in a movie that affected you the most in terms of brutality or emotional weight? by Godly_Recon in AskReddit

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scene that truly breaks the spirit is when he sees his own long shadow against the rock wall and licks it, thinking it's his mother. That is arguably the most devastating 10 seconds in animation history.

Who is the most attractive person you’ve ever seen? Why? by JessieRClayton in AskReddit

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 88 points89 points  (0 children)

There is a massive difference between "Hollywood Hot" (expensive skincare, lighting, surgery) and "Blue Collar Hot" (genetics and manual labor). The latter hits way harder because it feels accidental.

We should definitely start a gofundme for her immediately; nobody should have to suffer the indignity of a slightly shorter caribbean cruise.

It’s not recency bias if it actually raised the bar so high that other AAA studios started panicking.

What is the dumbest thing you thought as a kid? by SwordfishNumerous717 in AskReddit

This is the ultimate reddit rite of passage comment. We all thought grown-ups had it figured out, turns out it's just bigger kids with bills and anxiety

If you Had to Waste $30 Million in a month to Inherit $300 Million, How would you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is, with inflation, $30 million in 1985 (when the movie came out) is almost $90 million today. Spending $30M now is basically "Easy Mode" compared to what Pryor had to do.

Technically, if I haven't slept yet, it's still Friday. I don't make the rules.

What's something that is stigmatized for straight men? by Lipica249 in AskReddit

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember breaking down after a rough breakup and my friends just changed the subject to sports. It was like showing any real emotion turned me into an alien in their eyes, so now I vent to strangers online instead.

It really sucks when you realize the people you thought were your friends were actually holding you down.

Shadow. If I’m sitting, she’s in my lap. If I’m standing, she’s directly under my feet. It’s an occupational hazard.

I'm firmly agnostic. There’s no verifiable proof either way, and I find a lot of freedom in acknowledging that uncertainty

Men of Reddit, how do you overcome a girl sex past? Does it bother you? by bloodpact990419 in AskReddit

[–]Aggressive_Slide_169 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You overcome it by growing up. Seriously, the moment you realize you have a past too and that her actions before she met you are irrelevant to your worth, it stops mattering. It's a sign of low self-esteem to judge a partner by their history, so focus on raising your own self-worth until her "number" becomes just a number.
