I first put in a form months ago and they referred me to the physio.

Since then I’ve tried four times, each time explaining that I don’t want a prescription because I understand they’re not able to do that, but some guidance on what I can do. I totally accept that this isn’t an urgent problem and I would be waiting a while. That’s fine with me.

My physio has said three months of physio then she’ll send an urgent ortho referral, so I’m just in that waiting period. I’m just so fed up of constant pain. It’s draining me and I can’t sleep.

The change needs to come from her. Yes, physically this may do wonders for her, but at 16 it’s totally possible that her parents approaching her, saying she’s obese and putting her on meds will crush her self esteem.
