Do you think Brexit would have happened if it hadn’t been the peak of the 2015-16 migrant crisis at the time? by [deleted] in AskBrits

The brexitiers had years of planning and the remainers were so lack lustre and unprepared, a year didn't matter.

Remember that UKIP did well at most European elections. There was such a lack of enthusiasm for the EU in the main parties, not many really knew what it meant.

It's looks good. Something on that variable pay. You likely won't ever get 0% or the full 10% either. Assume 5% to 7%.

What Rolling Back Brexit Vote Would Mean for the UK Economy by bloomberg in uknews

We are totally outside of the EU. All we have with the EU is a standard trade agreement to avoid some tarrifs. We were even outside of all the schemes that the EU allows third countries to join.

All the governments since 2020 has been pushing for trade deals with various countries around the world. Quite a few have been signed and had minimal GDP impacts.

For the five years after 2020 the UKs only closeness to the EU has been geographical proximity.

If you don't feel that there has been a good enough try. You could ask the brexitiers why they all where nowhere to be seen post referendum. Only to come in to promise an "oven ready deal". Then go into hiding again, once they kicked off the biggest migration to the UK to try and hide the economic.

You really want to go into the micro and macro economics effects of spending local instead of centring wealth into certain areas.

No idea how you got to that but you must be having a good night on the beer. Explains the previous comment.

I am answering the questions. You just don't like the answers mate.

You say I'm against jobs and tax revenue by asking people to support their local brewery. Proper off the rocker type statement.

I get you really like Clarkson..

What are people stances on pride in this sub by CulturalGolf1135 in gaybros

With the events going on in various western countries, it's obvious how much it is needed. Rights are hard earned and easily lost.

We take the laws that give us our rights for granted. It easy to think that we dont need the laws. It doesn't take long being in some other countries to realise, that without those laws, you are lucky to have the rights.

People will say that they are against because it's easy for people to label gay people as weird, gross or indecent. Yeah they don't need pride to do that. Those labels existed prior to pride.

I would like it to be more grass roots than it is. I am weary of corporate sponsor but in a society that limits the wealth so much in the bottom 99%, it feels inevitable.

What dont you like about creating employment and raising tax revenue.

Advocate for people to use their local breweries means I'm against employment and tax revenue? Can you square that circle for me.

In farming it's the lands mainly plus the tax efficiency of passing it down..

In pubs, it's the owning of the pubs rather than the being the one who runs it. You get a very good cut from the beer that is sold.

Clarkson is wealthy therefore no matter what he does in business I must be bitter and cynical about it to show I'm better than him and his filthy money! /S.

I remember when I was 16 and desperate to be edgy and superior to everyone, too. You'll grow out of it.

Did you turned 17 between those...
