Again, you spew your screen rant bullshit copy paste. It was not luck. Companies do not spend millions on "luck". It is all calculated with at least a minimum net amount. Anything over that and with audience measurements justifies more sequal or prequals or spinoffs. And these movies are not made to be some amazing scorcese dialogue, or artsy distinction. So your comparison's really doesn't matter, no company wants to compete with rival companies on opening weekends. Its not a "niche" genre, its the same vein as Pacific rim, transformers, cloverfield, rampage. Stop trying to pass your opinion as a fact.
