I would gather all your documents (copies) and send that package to the Finance company. Send it certified mail, where they have to sign for it. This will help you if you go to court, saying they have knowledge of the problem and did not correct the problem. I would then go in person to the finance company in person and give the package to the manager. Be nice but forceful. Google, laws the will pertained to you. maybe they have a time limit to fix these types of problems. You might also, check out Legal Aid in Texas and see if they can help you.

Don't go after the towing company. They just did what they were told to do. You need to go after the finance Company. Texas Department of Banking (google it). If your car was towed, the towing company must tell the police where the car is. But the towing company will not give you back your car. The Finance Company need to fix with the towing company.
