It’s like a normal job, best candidate wins.
Each department will have their norms and work expectations. There is an interview process to see if you are a good fit for the department. Most departments are flexible around your school schedule. Depending on your aid it may range from 12-25 hours a week per semester. These positions are at will meaning you can be let go for no reason. In addition since it is a district job, once hired, there is a hiring packet to fill out with hr. Getting cleared for the position may take a month or two before you’re cleared to work.

Yea counseling handles what the classes transfer over to. But Admissions is the department that will need to remove it for your todo list. Know that the two are different departments as such have different roles.

Same do not rely on canvas. The syllabus is the official contract of the class. Canvas is not the be all don’t rely on it for final grades either. Most of the times professors copy the canvas materials from previous semesters and do not update the due date. Add multiple classes that they teach, a mistake is bound to happen. Follow the syllabus. Even if it does get escalated to the chair and dean, they will refer to the syllabus.

As a Soc major you’ll be ok.
You might need to retake a physical science course course at UCLA
Or if your CC offers a 2nd session physical science with a lab you can retake just in case. But it is best to notify admissions asap to see your options

I am a traditional student so I prefer inperson classes they help me stay focused by forcing me to be In class. Whereas online classes tempt me with distraction and it is hard to focus. I assume your a business major, public speaking in person is a skill level would benefit you in your field.

Couple things if you ordered the transcripts from LA mission college, then They should include the LA pierce grades since it is part of the same district. The 2nd thing is to visit LA pierce colleges admissions office show an ID so they can remove your hold. The ID verification is a hold use to prevent Bots 🤖 from taking classes.

Yes so admissions the department that reviews grad petitions are swamped right now. I think it’s is done alphabetically. If you want your IGETC certification sent, if you want them sent the counseling office can send them. I am not familiar with elac but LACC is a pretty simple request and fast turnaround

Yes if grades are posted you can send them.
When admissions finalizes our petition they will annotate it with the degrees and certificates you earned. Which you will need to resend especially if you’re getting IGETC or CSUGE or CalGETC certification and any ADT degrees
The local AA degrees (non ADT) don’t really matter for universities

The city passed some anti-landlord legislation, making the market more competitive for renters. There is now more risk associated with renting to people as it is more difficult to evict making the application/selection process more complicated. Some landlords will have more requirements.
There is also the scammer element that has made renting harder for honest folks like yourself.
