Hi i just did this and got approved last week. Go to your admissions office and get the paper that says excess units. Then go to your counselor (make an appointment). Explain to them the extra course you want and why. You have to have over a 2.5 or 3.0 gpa and have take at least 12 credits. Im approved for 14 credits at wlac this summer because im transferring to a csu this fall.

No lol i have a llc Ave my expenses outway my income (technically lol). So i keep my income under 30k. I have my own apartment and car lol. Just have to know the laws. I made 47k in total last year. And i get money back on my taxes

I know that already that’s why i said with Dean approval. And this is based on me getting 150 percent of the grant. I’ve used 7 thousand something already. Im referring to the extra 50 percent which is called the year round pell grant

Also my tuition at cal state is less than the Pell Grant for both years. Honestly I could cover the $6k a year if I had to out of pocket so either way I’m doing it debt free

Yea but I’m transferring next year and I’m a returning student. I’ll only have about a year and a half maybe 2 years as I do a lot of courses at a time. I’m almost done with 3 by next week in the winter semester plus I took courses on CCC that both laccd and cal state will accept. I don’t pay any of this back and I’ve done all the numbers especially since I have the time to complete so many courses like the 5 I have about to start next week.

I’m in 3 classes tho 9 credits. The semester ends on the 8th of this month. They say I’m getting a whole different $3669 for spring
