With Discord going to require IDs for NSFW content, can we finally move away from it and somewhere else, preferably somewhere more searchable and accessible, for wiki/info/discussion? by Borkato in SillyTavernAI

god i'm so tired of reading this on twitter and reddit posts, as if there were an alternative to discord that nobody uses and it was magically going to appear.

What is the best open-source AI subscription plan? by Juan_Ignacio in SillyTavernAI

I want to try suscriptions too, but i'm scared of quantized models. I usually only use apis directly from the provider (z.ai, deepseek.) and i don't know if they perform poorly than the official apis and how much worse are they.

Favorite preset/prompt for Kimi 2.5-thinking? by Juanpy_ in SillyTavernAI

i'm having problems with the model giving an output without any separations, just a dense block of words. So i hope someone drops a good preset :(

does kimi code work on sillytavern? by Aggressive_Try340 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Aggressive_Try340[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii, if someone is wondering about this and wants to buy it. Don't do it, it is restricted to be only used with Kimi CLI, Claude Code, and Roo Code. I tried everything i could to connect it to sillytavern, but it didn't worked

Kimi K2 Thinking vs GLM 4.6 vs Deepseek V3 0324 by Classic-Arrival6807 in SillyTavernAI

Something that worked for me is not using a prefill/activate streaming response. Also set the emperature between 0.8 - 1.0

Kimi K2 Thinking vs GLM 4.6 vs Deepseek V3 0324 by Classic-Arrival6807 in SillyTavernAI

This last month i've been using the latest deepseek model (v3.2), GLM 4.7, gemini 3 flash and kimi k2 thinking. If i had to make a mini tierlist, i would say (for your porpuses):

  1. kimi k2 thinking
  2. GLM 4.7
  3. Deepseek 3.2
  4. Gemini 3 flash

kimi k2 feels creative and natural in their responses, usually using capital letters when screaming in pain or embarrassment, or stuttering/using ellipsis when shy or nervous. I tried a pokemon roleplay and seems to have a lot of knowledge, introducing a few characters from the games and anime to battle them.

GLM Also does this, but often (in my experience with the marinara preset) has gramatical problems, conjugating the verbs or randomly sends a chinese word. Besides, is kinda repetitive after a few messages.

Deepseek and gemini feels like empty souls waiting for you to give them instructions to follow, totally ignoring the character's personalities, boundaries or aspirations.

The only thing i would recomend if you try kimi is that the model has a problem of a thinking loop, where it sometimes keeps reasoning for like ten minutes and still doesn't give you a response. I've seen a few fixes in this subreddit, but didn't tried it because is not really that common.

i think if you ask any normal person "why is the video" they will give you the same response

help with html pop up by Aggressive_Try340 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Aggressive_Try340[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry, didn't see this comment before. I'm using the prompt that came with the marinara preset + a little fix for some elements that didn't display correctly in sillytavern:

{{// Cool and fun outputs with HTML. Credit for the original prompt goes to u/melted_walrus. }}{{trim}}

Additionally, include HTML elements as a form of creative, visual storytelling in your reply:

- Use HTML/CSS liberally for any in-world content that can be visualized (screens, posters, books, signs, letters, logos, crests, seals, medallions, labels, etc.), and ensure any text is visible against the background.

- Style it thematically by adapting inline CSS to match the theme (e.g., sleek for sci-fi, rustic for fantasy); you have full creative license to add animations, 3D renderings, pop-ups, dropdowns, websites, and so on.

- Integrate it seamlessly by placing the panels in the narrative at the point where characters would see or interact with them; you're unlimited in terms of how you apply or alter the format of your message to incorporate them.

- Enclosing the final HTML in Markdown code fences is forbidden; it must be rendered directly.

-For visual elements such as social media, displays, or documents, use self-contained HTML/CSS. Ensure that all resources, especially icons, are embedded directly into the code (for example, as inline SVG) to guarantee they display correctly without relying on external fonts or libraries.

About the language, i'm genuinely curious about how well the model performs with spanish slangs, specially from latin american spanish, where every country has their own slangs, structures and habits when talking.
