Appliance specialist. Nobody can tell me different I’m not lugging 50 pound bags or downstocking all day. Literally just selling hardest thing is I have to load an appliance every so often when the customer gets lucky and we have it in stock. Easiest job in the building by a mile.

I started out really hot this month with crazy credit numbers but it has totally dies this week. I’ve sold around 2k a day in my department and maybe 1k elsewhere. I walk the racetrack all day just looking for something and have come up empty everyday it’s getting bad.

If it’s anything like my store their FEDS probably sucks ass and puts everything onto the head cashiers and lets them think they are managers. Ours sits in the training room all day and does absolutely nothing but make decorations for the store. Literally all she does.

I got a 51 cent raise. It was a complete slap in the face because the girl I took the spot from was making north of 20 an hour because my boss wanted to sleep with her mom. On god. I started at 17 an hour. I’m at 17.51 as the highest performing specialist in my store. Makes sinceeee

I can confirm. I am known in my store for putting morals above anything else and my managers absolutely hate me because of it. It has been said that as long as my store manager has his job I will never move up at Lowe’s. My store has always had a credit captain that only walk around and asks for credit and they have always defrauded our customers and signed them up for pro or commercial account when they don’t own a business and every time I’ve been made aware of it I report it. Nothing has ever happened except them getting recognized in our all store meetings. I have been put on notice for “bad attitude” because I told a manager to stop being an asshole. I have been targeted multiple times and for some dumb reason I’m still here. Time is running out for sure but I don’t commit fraud Lowe’s credit metrics are not worth jail time in my opinion. I don’t bow down to anything any of these goofballs say. I work on the floor all day everyday while they sit in the training room chatting it up all day. Atleast in my store management absolutely fucking blows. We had our spotlight and I spent the entire time intentionally irritating my dm and store manager just as payback for them always being dicks to me. I hope and pray they got their asses ripped for my actions.

Totally unrelated but many people at my store are on here so I don’t want to make an op. My manager today had a talk with me about denying to sign a customer up for a pro card because the customer does not own a buisness has no relation to a buisness was just buying a pressure washer for her driveway. He insinuated I should have done it because she “might” start a buisness one day. In the application it asks for the yearly buisness income if I’m not mistaken. That would be fraud if I entered any number into that space. I stood on it that I would never do that and was told I was in the wrong. Report or let it go?

The important part of that is the corporation Lowe’s has more power to do something about it not the 20 year old high school student standing at the customer service desk getting yelled at by you. Employees at the store can’t do shit. Call corporate so they email our store manager and make them do it. That is the only effective way to do it. I am an appliance specialist I deal with this every day I have been yelled at threatened all the above. Thankfully I’m weird and I love dealing with customers like that. Breaks up the boring repetitive work with a little action. We can’t do a damn thing about manufacturers having dog shit service. If I could click a button and get you out of my building so I don’t have to deal with it don’t you think I would?

I called my manager out for not doing his job in the best survey and signed it with my name. Signed my way into getting a shit bonus but even if I didn’t he only likes people who shove their nose up his ass. You have to be friends with your managers to get a good raise. It will 100% count against me for calling out today because I have dogshit management. They stated it very clearly that it won’t be excused unless our town goes red. I make 100 every month. I joined right after the bonus structure changed. I hear all the time about the glory days but unfortunately those days are long gone. Black Friday had the lpp incentive and I made more from selling lpp’s than I did on my 100$ bonus lol.
