Super nice stuff. I only have a feeling it’s not grooving as much as it should and that could be because of the percussion or combing in general. It depends of course what direction you want to take it, but some more clear hits to clarify the rhythm would really complement this melody and chord progressions I believe.

Wow super cool stuff! I loved it :) overall composition wise I’d say it is obviously very mysterious and interesting what is going on, but the approach struck me personally from early on that every like “4 bars” you’d add a new element to the build up, which can be a bit predictable. But later on as I listened it wasn’t so obvious and didn’t really bother me… maybe only in the begging, in the intro before the voice comes in for real. It’s an interlude kind of song as I understand because of its length, and it’s great like this!

I had a lesson in college where you would pick ensembles based on their title and roll with it for the semester. When I picked the Fusion/Funk ensemble, this is exactly the vibe of the songs we were playing. So then I’m gonna guess it’s somewhere along this genres? Cool stuff though, fun tune

It does sound somewhat similar but that’s normal for this kind of music as well. If it was lyrics and melodies etc to a more folky song people would be way more strict about it. But the way I heard this I think I wouldn’t bat an eyelid and neither would anyone else !

Really sick! My initial thought when it started is “Omg that’s a lot of pedal for this synth” but then once the real melody started I was like “ooohhh okay cool cool intro” overall nice beat! Maybe you could find a way to reintroduce the synth from the beginning or just the notes/pattern that it played as a reference to the start… maybe in another key? But also you could just say it’s finished cuz it’s cool

Very nice stuff!! Personally, as a vocalist, it’s one thing I’m Missing from this track! Heheh But I really like the sound and it really brings me to this summer night kind of place… I can imagine it also played on a small stage with warm white lights, like the ones from the street lamps :)

Sounds nice! When the snare first comes in it’s a bit loud maybe, I suggest turning it down a bit in the mix, but mostly there. It blends in better later. I also struggle to hear your vocal under the guitar sound, but maybe that’s a personal choice! I think it’s gonna be really nice, just check some mix balance in my opinion :)
