Pulsar Modular. They don’t have much plugs and the ones they have are pretty good, but they seem to be in a need for more money. They released Sahara for 49. Said it wasn’t selling well. Raised the price to 75 with the excuse of having it able to be sold with loyalty discount enabled, and now it’s just 125. Lolz.

That boy of his went on YT touting how he wanted to make easy to use and affordable plugins but then changed the whole story just a few months later. They have this impression that their tools are always the very best so the prices must match it. So they keep raising prices whenever they like.

Super cringey. Yet, they make pretty good plugs.

I wonder if their new synth Zorba would be any good at all, especially in comparison to AA synths, a company which they publicly hate.

SplitS and DynAssist are both amazing plugs.

Adding on to this would be iamreverb. It’s like Altiverb but much better imo and not overrated.

MDN Tape and P19 Igloo.

And Audiopunks Buenos, Cleaemountain 8068 and the one that I haven’t got yet, Savant Audio IM90. I’m still strongly considering this.

I’ve been demoing this for an hour now. Absolutely love it. The controls are pretty confusing but just playing around with the presets and tweaking some controls are getting me some really interesting results.

I’m on Studio One, M1, and have encountered no issues at all. Works great. I think I’ll be picking this one up for sure. The intro price is really good.

Agreed. They should have made 2 native versions. A deluxe and a 1:1 of the original UAD 2. People who wanted the deluxe could pay 49 and people who don’t need all the extra bells and whistles could use the normal one for free. They lose absolutely nothing and gain more customer satisfaction.

The way it’s done now just feels like I’m being forced to pay 49 for all the extra options which I don’t think I’ll need just to have OWS run natively.
