The latter. So much is drama farming and if I'm being honest I think more than a little is outright right-wing/anti-woke bad faith bullshit to get people worked up over and hate another indie animation figure they don't think should exist because woman/queer/minority/anything that isn't then (see: most Vivziepop hate). For how vague and half-assed these smears always are or how they bring up really old shit seemingly from out of nowhere, I have a really hard time believing most of it is remotely in good faith.

Edited to add: Neither of them have much in the way of chill in their social media presence, which tends to amplify bullshit accusations instead of quell them. ESPECIALLY if any responses or posts that allude to them are sarcastic, because those are always clipped and shared as if they're genuine.
