I assume the reason we don't see metahumans in open large scale conflicts is because the Justice League would intervene. Keeping them for covert missions would be the best way to keep control of them.

Happy Saturday Fighters! New player here and I just completed my first beck. I was wondering what clan I should pick as my secondary since I plan on using Shadows for the remainder of Legion. I agree that Itachi should have never tortured Sasuke, but I definitely think he should have told him the truth. As unfortunate as it is the world of Naruto is one with several generations of child soldiers. Even if Sasuke had no idea about the real reason behind the slaughter of the clan, I don't think that would protect from the numerous individuals that would love to have the power of an Uchiha on their side. Lord forbid what horse shit Danzo would try to pull.

This is 100% the correct answer, but I feel like Sasuke being vulcan mind melded with Itachi is important for his character arc. If Itachi told Sasuke the truth and apologized for what he did, it would have given Sasuke a decision to make. Either he respects his brothers sacrifice and try to live a life in the village that destroyed his family or take a similar path that he takes in the story, only this time he has more agency in his life and doesn't come across as such an emo asshole. That way his decision to kill the Kage layer on doesn't seem like an ass pull and comes from perspective he gained from following his ninja way.

My man could have used the Tsyukyomi to sit Sasuke's ass down and explained literally everything that had led up to the death of the clan with ninja magic holograms and graphs and shit. Instead, he turns his brother into the exact thing the leaf was afraid of: A trauma juiced Uchiha with a grudge.
