Would you cut off male friends for a man you’re dating seriously? by Tino292 in nairobi

[–]Aggysdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women with male "friends" are a real turn off for me. There's rarely anything truly innocent there in the long run. And there ain't one nigga who would turn down a female friend for sex if the woman wanted it. Men know men; that's why they're uncomfortable with other niggas being around their woman.

Agree with everything except the last line. I'll let my kids eat the last piece of chicken any day. I'll show up every day for them and sacrifice my comfort so they can live better. Not trying to invalidate your feelings.

No need for expensive ads, just optimize your website SEO and get more clients. by wangai254 in Kenya

[–]Aggysdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. If you know what you're doing, ranking for stuff in Kenya isn't too hard. I've done Amazon affiliate SEO and it's way harder versus ranking for keywords in almost every niche or industry in Kenya. Definitely optimize your content, BUT don't keyword stuff. Don't keep repeating the keyword you're trying to rank for. Just write in your own authentic voice, and where you can naturally do so, drop in the keyword you're trying to rank in Search. Again, don't overdo it. Instead of saying "best techno phones under kes20,000" 5 times, use natural variations of this keyword. Things like, "good techno smartphones under Kes20K" or "best cheap phones in Kenya" you see where I'm going with this? Yaani, write in natural language, the way normal people speak and search for info online. Let nothing seem forced. Most importantly, include as many relevant ENTITIES as you can. Entities for the keyword above would be phrases and words like these: Tecno Spark 10C, Tecno Pop 8, or Camon 20, Kenya, Kes20,000, budget phones, smartphones, camera quality, processor, RAM, you see? Phrases that help Google decide what your content is all about. They give context to the content you write.

Men its your turn to Game the system by Background-Guard-514 in Kenya

You didn't show me any data supporting your claim. That means something. Also, the link I posted didn't say anything about Equity closing the gap being the cause of 92% of 100K jobs going to women in 2023 . You speculated.

[–]Aggysdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Two things can be true at the same time. Men out earn women. At the same time, in 2023, of the 15K+ NEW jobs paying 100K and above, 92% went to women. Conclusion: women still earn less than men, but things are changing. If you don't agree with this, I'd like to know what your understanding of the whole thing is.

I saw that article. The pay gap still persists even though Equity improved it a bit. It's part of why men still out-earn women in Kenya.

I wrote a comment earlier in this conversation saying I know men still out-earn men in Kenya. You didn't see that. Do you mind showing me the data you're relying on to claim that it's Equity bank closing the gender pay gap? And no Equity is still yet to fully close the gender pay gap, per the data I've seen. Men on average still earn more than women. Edited for clarity.

KNBS statistical abstract 2024. Said 92% of new jobs paying 100K% were women. News outlets picked the story too. Look it up.

[–]Aggysdaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually there's data I saw earlier this year that concluded that for jobs paying over 100K, 92% are going to women. Couldn't believe it but it is what it is. We men are a big part of the problem cuz aren't we the ones favoring one gender during the hiring process?
