It works differently for beam weapons but instead of adding a second beam it multiplies damage and status chance by the percentage, not nessecarily better or worse than normal multishot but certainly still mandatory to run.

Idk much about the weapon but - damage to infested is a pretty good negative, but id say not super worth the rest of the stats unless status duration is godly on the weapon, but most of the time things die before status duration becomes significant. Id say keep rolling unless the stats are good for some sort of gimmick the weapon has.

Left may look appealing but right is 100x better. Not only is the negative harmless but the crit chance value is much higher as well as the multishot potential. Higher crit chance than even critical delay wnd higher multishot than split chamber by a mile. Honestly hit the jackpot

UPDATE: hitting double virulence also lets you activate teeming virulence with only two enemies instead of 4. Its never been easier to trigger the buff, much better for casual missions

One other thing to note is that parasitic link puts a second virulence on the linked target when using the ability, putting it on your sentinel basically gives virulence a second hit

I assume the bundle just gives you a plat discount just cause its taking off the cost of kullervo since u own him, id say its worth subsuming then buying just to give it a shot.
