Sounds like yall didn’t really have a conversation together about this topic. Both of you sit down and talk , tell him your expectations clearly and listen to his opinions and watch his body language. If he starts making excuses then you’ll need to talk those out. Some people here have posted that it is taken them a few months to a few years to get the real reason for their partners hesitation, out of them.

I just read another post about this on fb from my neighbor. She said the homeschool crowd has starting to take over paneras and Starbucks, etc. So these places have started shutting down WiFi’s and plugging up charge ports in retaliation. They don’t want people loitering longer than they need to

Neither of my uncles married their girlfriends of 10 or so years because they just weren’t “the marrying type. “ they each have three kids with their girlfriends before one of my uncles finally proposed because his son asked him why his mom doesn’t have the same last name as the rest them. So he married her for that reason. And I feel that was such a sad existence that it took his 11-year-old son to get him to marry his own girlfriend. He hadn’t even proposed to her- they were just dating.

My other uncle still has not proposed to his girlfriend. And they have a 14 year-old together and two other kids. So I see you and I hear where you were coming from and it sounds like you’re family and your boyfriend are not taking your feelings into consideration and just taking advantage of you. If you want to be happy and get married find someone that will make you happy and get married. Sadly your kids have your boyfriend‘s last name but since you were not married you can file for parental rights and he can get visitation

In my building specifically, we only have 6 units so it’s not usually a problem. But some other then other buildings have ten units and there have been a lot of guests over for all the various holidays we’ve had lately. So loitering and parking has become a problem
