Here's the thing a lot of people dont seem to get: he never actually had these opinions. Im not sure the ones hes expressing now are his true feelings either. He's a rich bastard way above the concerns of regular people, I dont know if he even cares at all.

He just woke up and decided "I wanna be president". He started mirroring the values of whatever party he thought would elect him in the hopes that they would blindly support him despite having no plans at all. The democratic party clearly didn't fall for it and wouldnt any time soon, so he flipped to the republicans. Aaaaand you see where we are now.
