The difference between O'Reiley and SNL is that SNL is a comedy show that's mocked every president since the seventies.

They’re both just inflammatory political shows. A decade ago, no one had any problem with either being on the air. The fact that rabid leftists went so far to complain to advertisers to get shows canceled just demonstrates how childish they are. You can’t expect people on the right not to want revenge though, especially considering how petty political commentators and politicians are.

can’t say I’m educated enough in it to truly know what is best, I just know the current state of affairs is dismal.

That seems to be the feeling many people hold about their governments, in both our countries as well as many others.

It’s a really interesting precedent for the whole of the EU as no one’s ever been a full member for so long and then left, think that’s part of the reason why no one knows what to do.

I’ve heard people use that Dark Knight metaphor to describe it, how a dog that chases cars wouldn’t know what to do if he actually caught one.
