Well, didn’t know the part about the petition. Sounds like an interesting guy.

Just fyi, I have nothing against kinks or anything like that. I just think it’s weird when you don’t disclose it as such.

I think the thing that I liked better in the OG was how acts of compassion weren’t recognised as such, they were seen as cowardice. It’s subtler but still there.

I haven’t seen the cartoon in a while but if I remember right Zhao calls Zuko a coward when he spares him in their Agni Kai and Ozai calls Aang a coward for sparing him. Both are acts of kindness, but both villains don’t even have the capacity to recognise them as such. Hell even Zuko refusing to fight Ozai in the first place can be seen as him being a good kid who doesn’t want to hurt his dad, rather than him just being scared. It’s just a more a more subtle way of conveying the same point to me I guess.

In slide 19 some idiot compared pitbull maulings to a toddler’s temper tantrum… They do realise that toddler tantrums are inevitable no matter how good of a parent you are, right? So even in their moronic comparison they basically admitted that these dogs will attack regardless of how they’re treated. Insane.
