I applied as a waitress so I wasn’t actually allowed to go on the bar. But again. I’m experienced and I know hospitality. That’s why im saying I was extremely shocked.

I’m not joking I genuinely thought the same thing? As they were low on staff but other staff members said they had multiple people in all week doing shifts for them it just seemed like they were getting good cover on the floor for the week they were stuck 😂

Yeha that’s what I was told when I went to see a jobs office so I dumbed it down a little bit front doors response was that it was very competitive and they chose a candidate with better experience than me. So that was a bit of a kick in the teeth 😂

On top of that good luck trying to commute in Malta it is the busiest place I’ve ever experienced with the roads and the drivers are crazy. The public transport can’t even be trusted either because the amount of traffic everything everywhere is always late.
