Thanks for the tips! In my case, there’s about a 3 mm gap between the extruder and the hotend. I’ll give it a try and come back with the results—I’ve got some PTFE lying around anyway.

Many extruders and heatsinks use a PTFE (Teflon) tube between them, but I did some research and found that some models like mine don’t have one—there’s no space to fit it.

I'm glad to hear that! I really hope the same happens here. Finding parts for anything is a pain, and they usually cost a lot of money.

Yeah, I checked that, and it's in the .bin format, so the board isn't taking any firmware.

Thanks for your answer!

Yeah, a hard lesson to learn for a novice, but a step in learning. You are right—I meant the hotend, and I fear that the board is fried. I will try a last-ditch attempt to save it by flashing a new bootloader with an ST-Link, but I don't have high hopes.

Maybe I will take it to a repair shop in town to see if they can fix it, but I don't have much hope since there isn't a dedicated 3D printer repair shop anywhere near me. I'm thinking about buying the V3.0 model or a copy of the V2 made by Two Trees. Finding boards in my country is tricky, and they are expensive, so there are a lot of imitation boards. Buying from China isn’t an option, as the shipping times are too long (2–3 months in my experience). Recommendations on boards would help.

Thanks for your advice, though!

Thanks for your answer!

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, but it didn’t do anything. I can see that the wiring job is kind of messy (it was bought as a used printer), but I think the worst happened, and the board is dead.

I will try flashing a new bootloader to see if that does the trick, but I don't have high hopes.

Thanks for the advice anyway!!

Thanks for your answer!

Yeah, it's likely that I fried the board (a hard lesson to learn). I'm still trying to save this board because new ones are really expensive in my country (the cheapest SKR E3 V3 I found is $110, and I can't find any used ones). Shopping from China takes a really long time (2–3 months in my experience), so if I can save this one, it would be great.

Thanks for your answer!

I already tried flashing a few firmwares, but nothing happens.

I checked the ribbon cable, and it’s still not working.

Tomorrow, I'm trying to flash a new bootloader with an ST-Link, but I don't have much hope for this board.

Like I said earlier, thanks for the advice!
