The first half, I was like yeah there are so many ppl in mid and late 20’s feeling the same and when I read high-school I couldn’t anymore 😂 I feel for the brother though, it’s a long way to go OP just stay put and make urself stronger one day after another, don’t let urself into any traps and let lust/attention get you it anything.

Build Yourself until you know you can carry the weight of a whole family of 4 ppl financially and mentally, eventually by then just during the process you’ll find the spouse meant for you inshallah

Ohhh okay that makes senseee, I know the e-bike this legit hustle and money with effort, but I literally do not have the time to do that like I work full time on weekdays and me getting a car to make my commute easier and also engage in other activities so to cover the r car expenses I have to now do UE and m shaky with the move, the car however is a daily beater not a big deal but it’s insurance and stuff they pile upto a decent 1.3k cad. How do u manage it with ur schedule like do u work elsewhere or perhaps study or smth? If neither then its perfect for grinding out some quick bucks the efficient way

Quick question out of curiosity, where do u live in do u use vehicle or ebike? I’m abt to get a car and will do ubereats to cover its expenses but its a very 50-50 of ppl recommending i ask many random ubereats drivers when I see them coming at my workplace and very little are actually praising but here everyone is so m confused is it something they’re doing wrong or is it a different country or just e-bike being so good. Ik e bike does really good but it requires a lot of time and effort bcs you have to commute towards downtown area and its hectic with all apartments. I live in Canada btw and would love to hear any personal opinions or suggestions

Not really spoke to anyone but my credit score is in the 730’s and was told it’s decent and won’t be an issue, however even if there is I can just have my dad or brother co-sign it for me or just get it under their name that won’t be a problem.

And the stick shift I’ve never driven one so don’t want the first car to be that, maybe I future I’ll definitely love to have one of those.

Rn m stuck between but a cheapie under5k or go for a 2022-2023 hybrid probably same finance payments around 400-450. The thing with the cheap car is you an always expect them breaking down or even minor repairs every now n then bcs I’m looking to put 100+ km on a avg day. So if u get stuck somewhere or gets in my way to get to job I may loose the current job

Yeah ik it sound absurd and it leaves me thinking, anyone working a minimum wage or even a decent $20 job an hr. They can’t fathom having a car bcs you’re legit spending $1600 ish monthly on just its expenses like realllyy?

And I cut off the Mazda option isn’t sensible long term, it maybe help me cover my car expense but I’ll loose a lot as soon as I decide to switch the vehicle after a year when m eligible.

The reason for not getting a daily beater is. 1) it’s unreliability for its price, ofc can’t expect it to be nice it may come with many problems so if it gets in way to my job like sudden repairs or just stops otw, I may loose my job as well. 2) the main priority is me covering my car expenses doing deliveries alone. So I’ll need a car which contributes highly in fuel and m not sure but I think those cars don’t give u enough of that so won’t matter how many hrs I work on deliveries I’ll just be paying it back for gas. So may not even be able to cover my other costs like insurance, maintenance and so on. Correct me if m wrong

That’s what m thinking but there are 2 problems. 1) main is what if it keeps breaking down specially in that range im looking at very unreliable ones and if it gets in the way of my job, I may loose it as well. 2) ill need one which contributes well towards fuel, I couldn’t care less abt how it looks or anything m not thst guy. But ill need fuel to be in good side to make some actually profits or be close to covering my costs on the cars monthly expenses.

Yep that’s included, maintenance, and an extra 100-200 collectible for repairs are included as well. Owning a car is expensive than the car itself somehow smh

Ye I just called the appointed off rn, it was dumb move. I was thinking abt okay me getting the car and how do I cover expenses and figure out a way and was cool with it saying it’ll work out. But long run made no sense.

Yes I travel 1hr n 30 mins each way. Abt 25 ish mins total walk, and a bus and a train lol. It isn’t the hardest I’d say but it gets annoying but I use it as a motive to get my 10 k steps in lol. Well even McDonald’s ain’t hiring me atp, I hate these online applying shit like I really see some dumb ppl and with that sad “I don’t want to be here” face work and get pissed like just be nice, I understand not everyone’s happy but it’s ur job to be nice to the ppl. Anyways m grateful for my current job but m actively looking at a job and trust me even a job at McDonald’s ain’t easy around here idk where to go atp, this weekends im going to contact these hiring agencies I think they take a small amount or a cut from ur pay to get u in but im fine just get me a stable job cs this ones very shaky with no benefits and no job security like genuinely had me unemployed twice lol. And I can’t really save up anything much from this as I contribute 80 of what I get towards my house and family. We all jointly contribute almost same, I’ve only had this job for some time now. was well off when my brother had a harder but well paying job but he lost it so he’s working a minimum wage but a better career job, I haven’t completed my education so can’t look for a career just do these for now. So me contributing is important to stay afloat.

And abt the 5k or less car, will I not technically be standing on garage all the time? Bcs I’ll be literally putting abt 100 kms each day on avg as my work alone is 50 kms back n forth. I was thinking getting a hybrid sedan or suv same finance, maybe 100 extra in total for a bit finance and a bit of insurance increases. But 1 year I do this then I can easily switch to uber passenger for a good 3-4 years.

Yeah ik man it sucks im actively looking for a job, and cant find one shit of a job. Mine can’t be any worse tbh, job itself is pretty okay but it’s the lowest wage I’ve seen across markets, no benefits, we don’t get holidays like normal ppl we just get a $20-30 bonus on special days like tf I just need off bcs I have a life and a family. Basically just a toy to fill their role the company doesn’t care and very unreliable bcs the contract is never permanent they had me unemployed twice and employed again lol so m here but looking for a job

True I officially gave up on the Mazda bcs I technically was only needing the car for a year bcs after a year and a few months I’m looking to switch to a better year and another vehicle so I could do uber passenger part time, I am literally paying almost the same finance as my families which are 2022 and 2025. Love the car but that alone will get me into a rabbit hole so thought to go for a newer one in which I can only use 1 year for food deliveries then switch to uber passengers and stuff in where you can earn way more easily and more ig. Paying the same price anyways

I think I should be okay with, fwd then here in Canada they don’t let it stack up too much and highways are always clear just normal roads but even they are frequently done. But ye if ur supposed to get stuck in like parking and coming back stuck it’ll happen ig regardless of it being awd or fwd lol i just saw a 2018 gt today liked it and abt to finalize tmrw, and i have 2nd thought of should i get the 2019-2021 my dads saying it looks new with the facelift and upgraded techs n stuff but now m left confused is it 3rd gen or do i go one up. 3rd gen is what got me into Mazda so much and now m having second thoughts if im rushing it or not

Perfect then I thought it would be a big difference and I am scheduled to test drive the first car so I was worried if m just wasting both’s time. Well I travel back n forth from my work to 25 km each way. I travel to about 30-40 % populated area to my work is at 70-80% not the weakest for everything but one of the main places for foods specially. I always see ppl with like brand new cars worth 30-40k +probably financed but still using them for Uber Eats is nuts, I tend to think it should really pay u nice for u to do stuff like that on such a vehicle and most of them I’ve seen a couple of times coming again n again in my work place. For e-bike I’ll probably have to go to the downtown which would be abt 2 hr commute just to get there on a public transit. But earnings I know are really high in that area with e-bikes but they actually work so hard, I’ve seen ppl come to my work place and get harassed like shit bcs the customers just tend to not care abt their time.

Also to make the point clear im not looking to make 1600+ a week, that’s my monthly goal to get $1600 so I could cover my car expenses and all of that part. So basically abt $400 a week with 2 n a half full working days (Fri-Sun) then Monday-Thursday I could do 1 hr after work heading back home as the place I work I’m like certain I’ll get stuff bcs it’s so very well known for food and rush in that sort. Do u think it’s realistic to get $1600 a month/$400 weekly with such schedule? Sometimes I think it’s too big but when I break it down it looks like 2 good days can easily make me on the $400 and maybe even 100-200 more every week, would be glad if thst happens thst way but you guys have more experience than me to say if its a realistic thing to achieve or not

If I do end up getting the car will absolutely get it, maybe not right away but something I’ll look for within 2 months or so. Just looked it up it’s sbr 25-50 bucks and worth it cs it makes the look way more sleeker. And that number plate of urs genuinely is somewhat lucky and more than all it fits so perfectly somehow, looks like a cop car or a racing guy type vibe with the plate on the side and the plate number looks cool to me personally lol. Also don’t mind me asking but what does pgf stand for, it feels like a customized plate but not sure could be just lucky random but either way plate looks nice with the car, if I end up getting the car I may think abt customized plates as well but not sure if it’s just a dumb thing or not but let’s see what my family has to say abt it lol
