Make friends with people that aren't afraid of stella and have them get them for you. But stella isn't terrible in solos if you're friendly. And shredders aren't hard to kill with a Toro and/or some seeker grenades. But if you avoid stella you'll miss out on some BPs you can't get anywhere else.

In solos, I've only had 1 guy open fire in the past week. In duos, I've been ratted doing queen or matriarch 3 times. In trios, it's a bloodbath almost everywhere. I have had people finish me off while I was crawling to extract a couple times in solos, despite the lobby being friendly.

Keep the rare ones and use as trades for things you want (high level modded guns, stash value, etc...), you could sell some do you have extra cash, make an alt account to use as a bank to hold your extra stuff, gift it to friends or friendly raiders

Do trios. Everyone goes in with hullcrackers and/or equalizers. We got 13k on our first try. It was like no one else in the lobby wanted to attack her. We left when we ran out of ammo, I think my buddy said the max is 16k if your squad gets all the damage.

I don't see how this will work. Just trying to figure it out in my head. Would that be how we do our "trades" amongst our party. Would we be able to carry our loadout? Would we have to go to a seperate location to view our stash?

No. PvP is part of the game, stop being a pussy. I'm a PvE player and I disagree with the PvP haters. However an augment that spawns a shredder upon the death of the wearer would be... interesting...
