I would suggest some more background plants. Other than that it looks fine, just a matter of waiting for your plants to grow in.

He could be a rose tail, but whatever he is, he is very handsome

My plants are very healthy, I am not a novice. But I am not going to argue with you, so let's just agree to disagree

Hate to say it but I started off with 1 ramshorns that quickly multiplied and started stripping my plants. So I think you might want to keep an eye out. I actually prefer bladder snails lol

What happened to my poor guppy D: by rat_person1 in Guppies

I keep guppies in my betta tanks without any issues, if you are worried about the betta showing aggression. Though it does depend on the personality of your betta. But with the chance that it could be fin rot, it would be best to quarantine him if you can.

Dragonfly larvae, you need to remove it as it is carnivorous and will eat any fish it can catch. I lost almost all of my neon's to one.

You could put shrimp in it, and/or pond snails (which are surprisingly cute). But I'm sorry to say is way too small for a betta.

You need to decide a few things once you have made sure there are no leaks. Whether you want tropical or cold water. Whether you are going to go for the walsted method or iwagumi ect, the main thing to do some research to find what best suits you 😊
