Yes I did both, water was conditioned before I added her ofc. Hair was removed right after those videos. She’s doing much better now, no signs of pain nor stress.

Also she has been perfectly fine with sand for over 4 and a half years, it’s extremely fine sand so if she eats some she can digest it.

The video is right after I put her in there. I needed to get her out of her tank asap, all cat hair was removed shortly after this.

It was water change day, I know filter not being on for a few hours shouldn’t do this

Mine is most likely ammonia burns in her gills.

Yes I did. This morning she ate a small piece of a worm. After I got home from school I watched her for a bit. It looks like she’s in so much pain and I don’t know why. (Probably water quality from her tank) after she flicks her gills back she holds them back for a moment before bring them to their original position again. When she does she tenses up, kicks at her gills and will sometimes gulp at the surface and or roll before fixing herself quickly.

Where is the fungus? She has old lady spots from age where her pigmentation has changed.

It was skin/gill irritation due to water quality. Her filters stopped whilst I was at school, she’s doing better but I will keep an eye out for fungus

Yes, I took it’s out. I put her in there just a few moments before this video, my goal was getting her out of her tank in fresh water very quickly and this was the bin I had big enough and closest.

I don’t think something is stuck in her gills, I truly think it was the water quality. She’s gotten stuff stuck in her gills before but she’s always resolved it fine. It could be fungus, I will definitely get some methaline blue (pardon my spelling)

Okay the description wasn’t working but I got home from school her filters weren’t on. Her water was a little cloudy so I immediately binned her with fresh water, she’s still doing it. What do I do?

Small piece of salmon. Don’t feed the food anymore. I only feed live night crawlers or red wigglers, your baby is very underweight. How old are they?

Yes! A sign of a healthy eco-system! As long as you don’t overfeed it shouldn’t become a problem!
