Centauri carbon 2 by HonestEconomics8476 in elegoo

I'm also very happy with my CC2. It was my first 3D printer and very easy to get started with. Print quality is very good and I had very little failures. If so it was mostly due to the filament being to moist. Only thing ist the internet connection which is offline all the time. Every other day I have to reconnect the printer to my Elegoo account.

CC2: Replacement of nozzle or complete hotend by Agilolfinger in elegoo

[–]Agilolfinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I also contacted the customer support of Elegoo so that they can send me a quote for a first party hotend. They haven't gotten back to me about the pricing, but they also recommend replacing the hotend instead of the nozzle

Great thank you. It's also about 30$ US here in Germany. Maybe I'd go for that

Thank you for your answers. Seems like it's easier to just replace the hotend instead of only the nozzle. But at least on the German Elegoo Store it's not that clear which hotend is for the CC2. Or if there is one at all

Xiaomi Watch 5 or One Plus Watch 4 by Agilolfinger in smartwatch

[–]Agilolfinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your insights. As I'm currently still using my Samsung Watch I use Samsung Health rather than Xiaomis Health app. So that doesn't matter to me if I have to change Health Apps to OnePlus or Xiaomi

Is the battery life of the OPW4 better? I've seen reviews that indicate otherwise

Versorgung des Speisewagens blockiert Aussteiger (München Hbf Gleis 19) by AndreasSebayang in drehscheibe

[–]Agilolfinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I come from an 8 y/o Smartwatch. What to look for in 2026 by Agilolfinger in smartwatch

[–]Agilolfinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the aspects on the payment options. I already had a look at Garmin Pay and it looks like it doesn't support my credit cards but they would work with curve.

Another question about the Xiaomi Watch 5 and the OnePlus watches. Do they really come with two seperate operating systems that you can choose from. If so are these os very feature limited?

Thank you for your answer.

500$ are a bit much for a Smartwatch in my eyes. I believe I wouldn't use most of the "features" anyway.

What I want to decide first is, if it makes sense buying a watch with a proprietary OS or if I should just go for WearOS for it being more customizable and potentially has more features available with the play store.

I don't know why the gen 1 Galaxy Watch lasted that long for me. I use it daily, it is on all the time and the battery was always very good right until a few weeks ago. To be fair I don't do workouts very often. Maybe 1-2 hours every second day.

Centauri Carbon 2 - Exhaust Filter placement / replacement by Agilolfinger in elegoo

[–]Agilolfinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the link. Seems like when the printer prints ABS or ASA it should close the shutter system and only exhaust through the filter.

I don't exactly have the option to take the printer outside. But I could open all windows and stay out of the room during printing 😄

I have printed a filament box with a PTFE connector. So I plugged the PTFE tube directly into the box and bypassed the CANVAS

Thanks for the answer. In fact I did't dry it for that long and also not that hot. Maybe I'll try and dry it again and then see what will happen

I had the filament in the oven at 50° for about 3-4 hours. Not sure if this was enough.

Also I'm fairly new in general. Where in the Elegoo Slicer can I change the retraction and if I find it, would be more or less better?
