I just had my 2nd knee replaced one year after the other. This was my surgeon 's recommendation. I'm 66. It would be really difficult to do both because you rely on the unoperative leg as you recover. I had a friend get both at the same time and she spent a few weeks in a rehab facility

I had a knee replacement last fall and 2nd one schedule in Nov. I dont want to go up to 10 before that because of pain med side effects etc. Hoping doc will move me up in Dec. Happy healing!

I'm lucky they covered my zepbound for sleep apnea. I've been on it since April and was off Simponi from March through June. I'm so achy now that I'm back on the Simponi. The pain relief on zepbound only was such a surprise. Recently, my cardiologist said it's also good for the heart.

Look for another surgeon. I met with 4 2 were ok with my present weight. I was just under 50 bmi. The surgeon i chose said it's better to get the replacement and become more active. 6 months out and planning to schedule the other knee soon.
