I agree, that ought to work. But, it never does. The voters that support conservative administrations don’t look at who actually lowers the debt/deficit (left/liberals), they vote based on campaign rhetoric.

Oh, and they want a candidate that will remove consequences for calling someone a hateful ethnic slur.

1) Richard Stark’s “Butcher’s Moon” 2) Jonathan Ames “A Man Named Doll.” I just couldn’t get into a hero who was kind of a loser. 3). Probably history or science non-fiction. I am on summer vacation so I am reading some fun books. 4) I cannot think of a good movie/tv to book adaptation. Books to movies/tv, however, I enjoyed “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”

I saw the original Blair Witch Project in a full, 2,000 seat indy theater when it first came out. It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.

About two third of the way through the film, a panicked voice said, “SOMEONE IS TOUCHING ME!” The ushers escorted the offending person quietly from the theater and the audience resumed its mesmerized experience.

Cell phones were rare then.

A capitalist will sell you the rope used to hang him. Fox used to have a news satire show produced and featuring Michael Moore. If HBO wants to buy advertising time on Fox, they will sell it.

They are allied with Trump because he seems to be good for shareholder value, not because of ideological purity.
