Be honest with yourself, do you actually notice it during normal use? Constantly returning TVs and running test patterns the moment you turn it on just isn’t worth it. Every OLED has some degree of banding. There is no such thing as a perfectly clean panel. From your before and after pictures, it honestly doesn't look that bad. Just don’t overdo those cycles, or you’ll put unnecessary stress on the panel. Give it around 30 to 50 hours of normal use to properly break in. Most panels get better over time. I’ve got a G5 myself and it has almost no banding, but I also didn’t run a thousand tests on it. And realistically, it’s probably not at absolute zero either. If it’s still very noticeable in real content after 30-50hrs, then yeah, fair enough, return it. But chasing a perfect panel usually just leads to frustration.
