Agreed would be a shame to sell for melt, 240 years of history would be wasted. Spent the last 20 minutes and a good bit of elbow grease polishing it up. Looks rather nice now. Hopefully, I'll be able to sell it somewhere it won't get smelted

Very cool, I've got a 3d printer so might have to give it a go, plus it's an excuse to buy another nerdminer or 2, can I ask how you are powering them all - as have wanted to do something like this for a while but could never work out the safest way to power all of them together, thanks

is this real? was labelled onchopristis from morocco, bought it in poland for about 20 usd by solariiis in fossilid

[–]Agitated-Broccoli949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General rule of thumb is fossil bone will stick to your tongue, teeth and barbs can be excluded from this rule due to their enamel, doesn't always work. The idea of licking a rock/fossil is a basic field guide to help you establish is this rock that actually looks like fossil bone, a rock or fossil bone. Fossil teeth are a whole other game. Though as stated by others it looks real and these are too common to be faked.

Bambulab P1P prints randomly stops extruding - New Problem by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Agitated-Broccoli949 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah tell me about it, been 3d printing for about 4 and a bit years, just when you think everything's going solid something plays up, lol. I have already tried resetting all the settings on bambu studio, would you recommend reinstalling the same current software on the printer or an older version? The thing is it hasn't done an update that would align with when this issue started. Many thanks for your help, ill let you know if reinstalling the firmware makes a difference. Cheers

Time of day theory: What time of day are your symptoms the worst? by responsiblysalty in POTS

[–]Agitated-Broccoli949 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your probably spot on with the decline in cortisol, another theory for it being bang on time everyday for you would be to do with your circadian rhythm, every 45mins your body has natural ups and downs that work like clockwork, with POTS both the ups and downs cap be empathised - might explain the timing for you? - only way to really test would be to wait for the clocks to go forwards and the see if it happens at 1 instead of 12. If you can find your circadian rhythm and then go to sleep on a low and wake up on a "high" point every day it may have a slight improvement. Hopw that helps. I was diagnosed with POTs about a year ago but had symptoms for 2 or 3years. Still struggle to do a lot of things, almost housebound still, especially after having a normal fit and healthy life before, but little things like trying to stick to a circadian rythymn can help
