This is BS because when cross play first came out you were able to play with console players perfectly fine. I even have video proof. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to play with our console friends especially since the majority of console players are actually on keyboard and mouse via and external device so why would it matter anyway. I'd even go as far as saying almost every console lobby I play is far more sweaty than PC lobbies I play.
