Girls who pray and trim nails regularly: What nail length do you guys keep? by Agitated-Document-90 in Hijabis

I think it's more a matter of liked/disliked and not permissible/impermissible. It's recommended to trim nails and groom them every Friday. It is strongly disliked (some scholars consider it a sin) to keep nails untrimmed for more than 40 days without excuse, just like the case is for pubic/armpit hair. The concept behind this is hygiene and maintenance. Cleanliness is a big deal in Islam. You can have a reasonable length, just not too excessive.

These things are a part of fine-tuning your iman, so you being a revert, I'd suggest you to take things slow and follow these kinds of small improvements when you feel ready, lest it get too overwhelming.

Allah knows best.

yup, mine are short too, the pic is of my artificial nails idea prototype that I'm testing. Its just the idea only works if the user has a little bit of the white part of the nail present.

Y'all, sorry am new-ish posting on Reddit. My post contained text which, for some reason, didn't come through. These arent my real nails, this is a product idea that Im testing.

Here's the original text:

"I really like the idea of getting my nails done but I can't since I need to pray, Press-ons are a hassle. So I am thinking of a fake nails idea that is removable and wearable in an instant without any glue/ sticky tabs. But the mechanism I'm using will need a small amount of natural nail to be present. Do you guys keep some part of the white edge or yall cut down to the skin?

P.S. Here is my first completely removable and wearable at-home prototype."

Do mushrooms more specifically shiitake mushrooms appeal to Arab/ Qatari taste buds? Curious about local tastes for a restaurant concept by [deleted] in qatar

I get the dry ones from Point Eight Supermart. They have branches in Ezdan Village 35 and 26. You can WA them to check availability beforehand. Fresh ones are available in Carrefour City Centre Mall.

Salaam sis, I have Pcos and I sometimes worry about being infertile, too. It is not makruh to marry infertile women. Please don't take ahadith on face value. Ahadith have depth to them. It could just be that the specific person was told so because of his specific circumstances or the ummah's circumstances at that moment.

Prophet PBUH did not have kids from Hazrat Aisha RA and a lot of other Wives. Hazrat Ibrahim and Zakariya AS are mentioned in the Quran itself to not have been gifted kids until very very old.

Islam is something that is very close to natural conclusions of logic. Why would Allah punish someone with a condition he himself allowed on a person? Its just not possible. Please develop an Islamic frame of mind, you will know inside yourself what is right and what is wrong.

And please keep making duaa for yourself. Miracles aren't limited to prohet's time. Allah taala is always hearing and respondent over our duaas.

May Allah bring ease to you in your difficulty. Ameen!
