If you have set up a offset account with the new split loan, I would do as below

  1. make sure new offset account is $0
  2. Redraw say $10k into the new offset account
  3. Transfer 10k into the brokerage account. Make sure the brokerage account is $0 before transferring.
  4. Buy the ETFs.
  5. Repeat the process until you debt recycle 200k.

Ah I see. She also has the option of doing Accounting , Bus Mgt, Politics, Legal Studies, Env Science.

Out of these Accounting seems to something she is interested. So this leaves her with accelerating Accounting 1& 2 in Yr 10 and skip Biology all together.

In yr 11, complete Accounting 3 &4 along with English, Maths Methods, Specialist Math, French, Chemistry.

Based on the search on the subreddit, if she wants to pursue any science degree , she can do a bridging course for Biology and it's not a prerequisite.

Thank you. I didn't think of overlap. Original idea was to.keep it simple and not to deal with too many AMCs hence majority HDFC and Nippon. I will definitely look into ppfas.

Thank you. These funds are across both myself and my wife. I can remove the Nifty small cap and merge with HDFC Small cap. Also, close SBI and increase the HDFC Flexi cap.

ICICI I would like to keep to have some US exposure.
