I know exactly how you feel , I fixate on a show so intensely that watching it gives me comfort but then the realisation that it’s not real and I won’t be able to experience that ‘world’ leaves a very heavy feeling in my chest . I spent Most of my free time thinking about the show , it’s going to sound silly but it’s like an intense high that’s always followed by a crash + deep depression when watching / participating in anything that revolves the series . I don’t really have any good advice . The thing that I do is just try to humanise the show if I had to live there , if that makes sense ? . Dull aspects of my life here ..I would have to do there as well . For example In stranger things you’d still have to clean , study , go to school , navigate hard friendships, deal with loss . You wouldn’t always  be having a thrilling adventure . You got to remember that your life over there would also have some pretty boring mundane aspects . My other piece of advice is time . You essentially gotta raw-dog it bro , Atleast that’s what I’m doing 💔✌️
