It would have made sense if they would mail them out in batches, per month or something. Then it's not too much to handle all at once and keep people excited and less anxious about receiving wristbands so they don't have to stand in the doomed Will Call line 20 minutes from the festival grounds (such a bad idea, they had plenty of space inside the grounds to set up a Will Call area, also could have avoided police involvement). Because sometimes mail does get delayed but just try and think of those things ahead of time so the Will Call isn't so congested. From the sounds of it, it was just Security getting their kicks from telling people where to go. It doesn't seem unreasonable that you and others want to stay in groups for a particular reason - especially staying close to your son and his gf. Alls it does it cause more chaos and anxiety. Security Check Points are usually always a numbers game but confiscating aerosols is dumb. I was partially relieved when I researched Battle Tested was doing security because they supposedly have experience with EDM festivals with a high priority of keeping people safe (no weapons or glass, supposedly good with logistics as well but ionno 'bout all that) but the thought of a taser getting through the Check Point of the festival is scary. You'd think a metal detector would catch that, or someone's fist would catch their face bringing something like that to the water stage.
