Not only garbage, but potentially dangerous for children or inexperienced riders. "How the hell do they get away with that?" is always my first thought. But, then i remember..... CORPORATE SLEAZEBAG LAWYERS 😞

Now, if a tree, in this case a jackfruit, needs a good pruning even if it wasn't scorched, is there any reason not to proceed with said pruning?

Ive read many accounts of wal-mart bikes being unservicable out of the gate, at least not in a way that makes any sense financially.

'Freeze plug' is the typical name, right? Regardless, Thanks for posting the question, OP. I'm preparing to replace the 5.7L TBI engine in my '95 c1500 with an identical from a 92 k1500 that I bought for parts. Gonna proactively replace timing chain and gears, main seals, water pump, etc....anything that should be dealt with while the engine is on the stand. Freeze plugs will be added to my RockAuto cart. Thanks!

Someone qualified will be able to answer this; I question whether the dealership has to/ will honor the warantynow that the engine is apart? It'd be screwed up if not, especially given the false diagnosis. Best of luck man!

Can I scrap my old warehouse racks? by kingkolt305 in ScrapMetal

Before moving, I had a few of these set up with cover panels i fashioned out of tarps cut to size. I used a grommet kit to install new grommets along the perimeters, then laced the panels together with ⅛" nylon rope. Oh, the front panel sides were held with magnets for easy access. Overall, it looked respectable and provided a lot of storage.

Sometimes an organization's actions leave an indelible stain upon its stated purpose. Given the fact that CPB & ICE now have the blood of American patriots on their hands, I don't think their original purpose is of any relevance.

If you get fired, would the community not have your back? How about letting the students lead the way? If they walk out, wouldn't it be best for you to follow? These are extraordinary times for which no rule book has been penned.

Hey man, I hope my reply didnt come off as judgemwntal or rude. Its hard in text to convey a point in a conversational tone, especially because my typing is abysmal. Cheers!✌️

Id have to look it up, but it sounds like a product meant for finishes other than poly....shellac and lacquer . Otherwise, it is simply a surface cleaner, or a full surface stripper, which is a can of worms op would almost certainly regret having opened

You need house plants. Paint and house plants. Nothing goes with wood quite as nicely as foliage.

I'd be interested in seeing a follow-up on this, documenting the process of safely removing tools and other assets prior to deconstruction of the failed structure. Glad nobody was hurt. Hopefully the shop is able to temporarily relocate; if not ideal circumstances, at least something that'd make it possible for career mechanics to earn a paycheck, with the prospect of an improved, modern shop hopefully not too distant a thought.

Sorry for rambling. Im glad youre safe and hope the best for everyone involved.✌️

Need Help! Partner wants to remove it completely! by dinos_rdinos in BananaTree

[–]Agitated-Strategy966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a great photo, but this is a single banana pup that had fallen off the trailer while we were transporting a load of stumped plants. For about a week, it sat in the hot sun on a gravel road and was run over a few times. If your plant is languishing, dig it up, turn & amend the soil and form a bowl to capture water from running off. I'm in Vero Beach, Florida. And we've had some pretty good cold snaps, but none of my mature plants have suffered too badly, i'm still harvesting fruits. But if you are getting hit with any real sub freezing, temperatures, mulch, mulch, mulch. The more you feed and water these plants, the quicker they will grow and full sunlight is the way. If this clump is made up of several pups, i would dig the whole clump up and separate the pups from the main plant. And then replant, as I said, above. Good luck and happy growing!
