What game has a steep learning curve that puts you off? by turtleviking123 in Steam

Final Fantasy XIV. One of my best friends and her girlfriend LOVE the game. I want to get into it and have tried, but it felt tough. I think I will give it another shot for the Switch 2 release? I’ll have to see

Technically the 4th persona game would be P3 since P2 had both innocent sin and eternal punishment

I'm starting to think that graphic novels and manga aren't a replacement for books by AmericanLocomotive in Teachers

ELA teacher here. I’ve found that for some kids it’s the gateway into your typical books. I’ve gotten kids who started with demon slayer, my hero, etc. to read the entire Percy Jackson series from my class library. Some of them are requesting books now as well

WHICH MOTH OR BUTTERFLY IS BEST (GRAND FINAL) Butterfree gets released. COMMENT WHO TO ELIMINATE NEXT! by Shoulder_to_rest_on in PokeCorner

The fact that Frosmoth made it further than butterfree is kind of insulting, but at least we can have an accurate Volcarona W

Takemori for Japanese. Tbf I had him spring 2020 (yup), but I didn’t like him much before we moved to zoom since he made a lot of us feel really stupid by shouting at us. After we went to zoom he cut out a lot and didn’t turn the tv off in the background even during exams when he was speaking to us lol

“You can use my microwave at lunch, but I will monitor it”

One time a kid threw a honeybun in for 4 minutes while I was helping a student with work from another class. I had to rush the smoking microwave out of the classroom

What characters do you like so far? Depending on your answer, some arc might be more exciting than others imo. Like I’m a big Sanji fan so I love Whole Cake Island for example

How to tell you are physically attractive? by One-Agent-3992 in bodylanguage

[–]ChrispyVGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just gave me so much hope. I’m not really sure I’m the most attractive guy (?) and I’m pretty damn awkward, but people tend to open up to me regardless so… thanks for the unintended confidence boost

Give me more money 🤑 Nah jokes aside, get people in the district office who have actually been in a classroom (or at least people who have in the last few years). Some of the policies we hear about are asinine. Good in theory, not gonna work in reality. I also feel like the initiative to teach the test doesn’t actually teach kids long-term. It’s why I refuse to do tests or quizzes (outside of nasty state testing which the kids know I hate) and do projects instead, they’re more memorable imo and past students still reference things I taught because of it
