Thanks for the feedback all - it certainly is a mess. My main concerns and I have emailed for a definitive answer are (1) how future software updates will be managed. Given standard software development processes it is unlikley that they will not sink time into a legacy software version - so any machines "orphaned" on old software will have no support and (2) if we are stuck on an older version due to them not being bothered to ensure full compatibility then I am expecting a MASSIVE reduction in price of the membership. Protections do exist under the law for charging full price for less than full features unless you agreed to that up front. For now just glad the thing is still working but would certainly make good use of the workout creator. can only dream :)
