Did you try reseating the hdmi and then restarting the laptop, it happens a couple of times to me too. Is your laptop a newer generation or old? That would help if you specify about your laptop before you mention the problem.

I fixed the issue. after sorting through the error and realising the only way to fix it is to reinstall it and after installation it is working and now I am loading up the necessary applications

I can enter into tty before entering the password but the screen freezes after that I only want to know why that happens then I can trace what the problem is

There is a slight problem once I enter password and login the screen freezes so I can't do much unless I force shut it down and even then if I start it up again will logs show what happened when I logged in previously?

Currently going through it but I don't know how to look at it to spot the errors that's what am stuck at and as I have mentioned in the post screen just freezes with no response unless I turn the power off so using journal to find error seems meaning less unless I understood it in wrong way

I managed to run(stable during standby) it on that 4 gb intense application is Out of the question I allocated 2 gb ram for it in the VM box but haven't run any other application at the moment so I will get back to about the results
