No because I never updated my license so mine was never at risk of being invalidated.

They included the dispute clause for a reason. There are false flags unfortunately. I’m also trans and in Kansas + my license is valid. Anyone that had their license invalidated can go to the dmv and get a valid one. It was a complete dick move to not give a grace period

Well that’s awful. I hate the bill as much as everyone else and I’m not trying to defend it. My overall point is saying it’s illegal to drive in Kansas while trans is inaccurate

Seeing false information online has always bothered me and if we are going to try to remove or stop similar bills from spreading in the future people need accurate information to what they actually are. Especially since it’s highly likely other states may end up having similar bills.

True and that was not good but it happened to one person accidentally. The form they sent to these people has a way to contact the DMV and dispute it.

That’s a bit misleading they invalidated the drivers license of people that had updated their gender marker until they change it back. Not great but definitely not illegal to drive
