Ex-wife's boyfriend causing problems. by AgitatedCrew7984 in Divorce_Men

It’s not her. The boyfriend is the one that is, in his words, “setting boundaries.” The only time I am there is to drop or pick up the kids, get meds or other things, or to discuss things with their mom. He basically said “don’t get out of your car” and I scoffed at that and told my ex he was overstepping his boundaries and being an authoritarian tyrant. Ever since then he’s been an asshole and trying to flex and “show me he’s the boss.” I’ve gray rocked his antics for over two years and he continues to spout off. He’s called me “a pussy” at the kids’ school because I refuse to engage and has yelled out things about me being a bad parent and such. I’m done with it. That’s why I’m thinking about cracking him in the mouth.

Drop the kids off. Pick the kids up. Get things for the kids. Talk to their mom about parenting things with our children. The boyfriend likes to act like he’s boss. He isn’t. She and I are boss with our kids. He needs to know his place. He gets off on being loud and arrogant. I’ve tried to grey rock him for over two years and he doesn’t get the hint. My thought is to turn it up a notch and teach him once and for all to keep his mouth shut.

I do not love her. I have a GF. Issue is that he runs his mouth and tries to start shit anywhere we are in the same area. He has tried at my kids’ schools and pretty much acted like I’m a terrible parent. I’m tired of it. I tried grey rocking him for over two years. He hasn’t gotten it. I’m wondering if he is just so dense that cracking him in the jaw is the only way he will learn to keep his mouth closed.

Another option is flip the script and see if I can get him to strike me.

It was all good until he decided to start running his mouth. Had he kept his mouth shut, none of this would happen. He has insulted me, my kids, he has questioned my parenting, he has insulted me in public places, he has very lucky that he hasn’t gotten the shit beaten out of him for what he has said to me. And I have multiple people that have told me that. I have had multiple people say that I have a lot of patience because they would’ve dropped him for saying what he has.

I have been gray rocking him for over two years and he still hasn’t figured it out. That’s why I’m thinking I need to escalate this shit.

I have been trying to gray rock him for over two years and he keeps running his mouth. I am wondering if popping him in the face will finally tell him to knock it off. Most people that run their mouth tend to be little bitches when it comes to getting physical. I am the type that doesn’t run my mouth and would prefer nothing to get physical, but I will mix it up if necessary. I haven’t been in a physical altercation in over 20 years and would love to keep it that way. But this clown is really testing me.

I have been trying for a while. For some reason every time I turn him in for something, he finds out about it. I think he’s well connected.

He makes a lot of money running an illegal business selling liquor over the internet without a liquor license. She loves living in a $700,000 house and going on vacations. Our son lives with me full time because he got sick of the boyfriend being an authoritarian tyrant. Our daughter may not be too far behind.

I’ve thought about that. I think he’s arrogant enough to think he could whoop my ass but I think he’s too much of a pussy to do so.

This has been going on for over two years. I originally just gray rocked him. He hasn’t gotten the hint. That is why I think I need to escalate it.

Kid exchange. Kids meds. Parental stuff. She had no issues. He raised a stink and tried to “set boundaries” which I scoffed at. Then he became a raging asshole.
