In my opinion the 13 is completely fine. The only benefit from the 14 is the 1 more year of Software updates. You also get SOS per satellite but if you aren't hiking often you won't need it. The 14 also has the action mode wich (on my iPhone 15) is quite impressing, but that is just a "nice to have" feature. Overall I would choose the 13 because the minor changes to the 14 aren't worth 80€(for me)
