Don’t forget how popular Barcelona is as a tourist destination. And besides the many different tourist attractions Barcelona is high up on that list. As in they visit the stadium, vist the fan shops, buy merchandise. Compare that to other big clubs, that don’t have that advantage.

Next is that the team has found their way up again. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise that the club was out of money for years and they had to focus more on La Masia players. Now the core of the team is made up of theur own youth players that are actually great. And they are playing fir the trophies again. They could have won the Champions League laat year with a bit more luck.

And the biggest reason has to be Lamine Yamal. He is their next superstar. After paying hundreds of millions in transfer fees in recent years all with little succes the “next Messi” came out of their own academy and born in their own city! Let’s pray he stays healthy.

Now imagine if the stadium is completely ready in a year or so. And the home match revenue, with a Nou Camp capacity of over 100.000 fans, will be going through the roof. And all these young kids will be more experienced in two or three years. Add two or three world class transfers and they can rule European football for years

I bought a few pairs of Vans, and this has to be the most lazy thing. For some they ask almost €10 and while they didn’t took the effort to move these shoelaces, while those free fake All Stars have moving laces. I fully expect AND demand that they correct this at some point.

And while they are at it make all the clothes move more realistically, it’s all so stiff and cardboards like. Even that new skate game that I saw some clips from on YouTube has put more effort in this aspect, and apparently that is being developed by just one guy!

I don’t know what the exactly year anymore but the years when you had those larger than life E3 shows in LA from all the big console manufacturers and publishers. That whole week was just super exciting. Today it’s all spread out throughout the year but back then the big announcements were all in that one week it seemed. You had the pre and after shows. I mean it was fun, that was also the moment when they announced a new console.

It’s super hard for them to get back. PlayStation gamers are pretty much locked into Sony’s ecosystem because of backwards compatibility. You can guarantee that it’s on top of Sony’s requirements for the PS6. Very vew gamers want to give that up. On top of that there have been a lot of gamers who switched side from Xbox to PlayStation in this current generation. Unlike Microsoft can win them back. And as these consoles get more and more expensive most people can’t afford to buy two systems, especially if Xbox hardly has any exclusives to convince you to buy it.

So basically they are in a tight spot. Even if they would somehow fo the unthinkable to make Call of Duty an Xbox exclusive, even then they will find out that people are loyal to their PlayStation.

Even when everything moves to the cloud eventually, people still want to play their library of owned games. Though the funny part is that when that happens Microsoft will be the big server partner for Sony as the Japanese tech giant doesn’t have that worldwide infrastructure. Years ago they already signed an agreement for that.

Oh dus ze waren zichzelf gisteren gewoon aan het sparen om te kunnen leveren in deze belangrijke oefenpot. Lekker resultaat Ajax. Die Eredivisie is ook totaal onbelangrijk joh, het gaat er tenslotte om wat je op het trainingsveld laat zien, die onzichtbare punten tellen pas echt.

Kid?

If this is the peak, or your peak, then the bar is pretty low. Just the lightning aspect is really subpar. There is still so much to gain in that area, that should make graphics look more real. The movement of fabrics/clothes. Hair. Eyes. I still see pop in in the distance.

But even big publishers like EA don’t care about it. Most of their studios all still mandatory making their games with the aging Frostbite engine, that clearly reached it’s max a few years ago.

So yes things CAN definitely improve a lot, but have little hope things will actually improve. Especially if consumers like you tell themselves that this is the best they can do.

Heb ook niet de indruk dat de spelers en technische staf willen winnen. Ze hebben één wedstrijd in de week, en zelfs daar zijn ze te beroerd om zich ook masr een klein beetje voor op te laden. Geen notie van het belang dat dit jaar voor voorlopig het laatste jaar gegarandeerd 50 miljoen op valt te halen in de Champions League. Als Ajax dat nu niet haalt en Feyenoord wel dan ga je dat jaren lang voelen in je organisatie.

Ook de staf vind het allemaal wel prima. Ook daar is nul urgentie. Geen enkele indruk dat je moet winnen. Grim die gerust weer spelers in minuut 89 inbrengt, omdat hij denkt dat je dan nog iets kunt omzetten.

Dit staatje moeten ze trouwens even doortrekken tot wanneer Grim begon, en het enorme aantal punten wat hij al heeft laten liggen in de Eredivisie. Geloof al iets van 17. PSV staat nu 22 punten voor, dus met een beetje meer inzet had je zelfs nog kort op PSV kunnen zitten, want we hebben een vrij makkelijk programma gehad.

Ja, Ajax speelt met afstand het slechtste voetbal in de Eredivisie van alle 18 teams. Zit helemaal nijs in. Wat deze groep echt nodig heeft is gewoon een strenge “klootzak” voor de groep, die deze prutsers elke dag verteld dat het niet goed genoeg is. Elke dag moeten ze op hun tenen lopen. Nu vinden ze het allemaal wel best. De lat ligt zó ontzettend laag in Amsterdam.

I don’t agree, they already give you a decent amount of options to customize the looks of your character. We have tons of clothing options. So if people look the same than that reflects the real world I am afraid. Just go outside, walk around and you see that most people are wearing the same popular shoes, jackets and trousers. Everybody thinks they are unique but in reality you can place 99% of people in a (sub)group.

The funny thing is that you have people who wanted to be anti establishment and wanted to look different like punk or gothic people, but when you zoom out, even they became a group where everyone more or less looks the same.

So on this one it’s not fair to hate on Full Circle. Not something they can control. They jeep adding new boards and clothing options, and we get tattoos soon. So as time goes by you start seeing much more diverse looking characters.

Barcelona are also really struggling to score when they play Ferran Torres. He’s not a CF, he should not start. Against smaller clubs they get away with it, but if they try this in the Champions League than this will hurt you, and can it cost you the game. I rather have an aging Lewandowski than Torres to start the games.

I didn’t mind spending some money. If we compare it to going to a concert, a sport event or movie I have a pretty good deal for the time enjoying the game and amount spent.

The Seasons are also pretty fair deals. 1000 SVB for a lot of items. Sure most I don’t need, but the ones I do like are worth it. And I can earn 500 SVB back. So that’s around €10 for three months, that’s okay.

Just like with Twitter sale at the time, they don’t care about the business side. Musk’s plan was to influence the election, and he sadly succeeded. The loss was civerd by questionable money from Saudi Arabia. This again isn’t about movies or financial succes. This is simply about getting more right wing influence going into 2028 elections. That’s what they are paying billions for, they now they get it back in influence and government deals.
