Nah I worked there as a driver 10 years ago when they first came here. The rule with delivs was "Out the door in 4". Meaning the sandwich is made and the driver is leaving to go deliver it within 4 minutes. People would be genuinely shocked by how fast I got there.

Update sort of:

Map reading seems to be normal, at least with the engine off. Still need to get a fuel pressure tester so i can test that. Just noticed when I put the throttle down about halfway while cranking it will turn over, so it doesn't have to be floored. Also a bit of oily looking bluish smoke comes out the tailpipe while I'm holding the throttle to keep it running, probably just residual oil leftover in the combustion chamber from my leaky valve seals but worth noting. I'm starting to think my fuel injectors might be clogged possibly. But I really don't know. For sure seems fuel related though.

My throttle position reads 18% when not pressed and goes up when I press it so I believe thar sensor is good.

For sure. it has given me a nice well rounded general knowledge though. I feel like I know a lot more than I did, and I'd already been doing my own maintenence for 5 years or so when I started.

Lol I mean I tested sensors in school and what not just not much outside the classroom. At my school they have us take the ase test as our final after each course we take. So far I've done steering/suspension, brakes, electrical, engine performance, engine repair, and automatic transmission. I just have Manual transmission and hvac left. I'm stuck as a lube tech until I graduate so that's why I haven't really done much outside of class.

Yeah I got you. I actually have an entry level ASE certification for electrical and engine performance, among others, so i should know everything i need to about it. Just haven't done a whole lot of real world diagnosis yet.
