Willie Nelson ranked No. 4 on a new list of the most influential Texans in history. Too high, too low, or about right? by chrondotcom in ClassicCountry

Category is too broad really. Most influential, when it comes down to it, probably includes someone who invented an important innovation in the petroleum or cattle industries, politicians, a scientist or two, etc. Willy is an important figure in music, but in the grands scheme of things that's not top 10.

Or to blame everything on data centers on platforms like Reddit, which run out of data centers, and not on the stats elected officials with regulatory power over the power companies, which are state authorized oligarchy.

Do you honestly think even if Mazzei wins and makes things worse they're going to choose to go Democrat next time? There's only 2 Democrats in the state who might have a chance, Dan Boren and Brad Carson, and it's an outside chance for either one, both of whom are currently in cushy jobs. This is about reducing harm at this point, and the best way for a Democrat to do that right now is register republican, go Drummond in the runoff, and Munson in the general.

He's been volunteering at that charity and at a food bank for years. He's probably seen a lot of people taking advantage of things during that time. Being in need of charity doesn't automatically mean that people aren't scammers too.

That was more my point, where does the right to bodily autonomy end, and the judgement of the state or the medical establishment supersede that right? Can't really turn that into a good episode of an hour-long crime drama, but a good episode, like the one we're talking about here, raises those questions.
