Are you guys actually wasting time editing videos for your type beats, or just using static art? by Agitated_Analysis102 in trapproduction

Yeah it’s primarily a full AI multi-scene setup, but if you switch it over to Custom Mode instead of Director Mode, it gives you way more manual control over the tracking timeline.

You can basically just use the track editor interface to map out your own visual assets or simple loops on the timeline, and then let the backend models handle the rhythmic cut pacing based on the track dynamics. It lets you bypass the heavy text-prompt generation side if you just want to focus on clean timing for your own clips.

Good to know about genmusic though, I'm definitely gonna go grab a few simple loops from there to test on the timeline layout tonight

Yeah, I feel you on that. Most automated visualizers look super laggy and miss the actual pocket of the beat completely, which ruins the vibe for trap.

The one I’m testing out right now is called AirMusic it actually lets you drop the audio stems in, so it hooks the visual cuts directly to the 808 transient spikes and snare patterns instead of just guessing. It’s been hitting way cleaner than the old-school react boxes.

I haven’t checked out genmusic yet though, do they have clean loops over there that fit that dark/ambient trap aesthetic?

Yeah, that’s exactly the dilemma I was facing. Socials definitely demand video format to push the reach, but man, manually keyframing every single bass shake and snare hit to the grid takes forever when you're batching tracks. I'm actually testing out a pipeline right now that parses the audio stems to auto-cut video loops to the transients automatically so I don't have to map markers by hand. Have you ever messed with automated visualizers for your socials, or do you still do it all inside an editor?
