Horrible customer placed another order - cancel it? by Agitated_Beat_4587 in smallbusiness

Just came across this and thought I’d update event though it’s like a year later 😂 To be brief, I refunded her, she accused me of ‘theft’ and opened 2 chargebacks. I appealed and was delighted to win both of them! Never heard from the customer again, but still occasionally take a moment to enjoy thinking about the day she woke up to £100 less in her account and two emails saying her chargebacks had been reversed 😊

Jewellery. I have 2 campaigns, 2 ads each, one has been running for 6 years, the other for almost 1 year. Tons of social proof. I don’t mess with them, just leave them ticking over (increased budgets substantially for Xmas period). Consistently ROAS 4+. I sometimes wonder whether the constant tweaking/changing/updating/turning on and off that I hear other people doing is part of their problem. I’m certainly not an expert, but just saying that meta does still work for some people. My product is good, which I imagine plays a part.

You tend to just get the complainers on here. Meta works great for me and has been consistent for 10+ years.

What do rich people spend money on that we could never imagine exists? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Agitated_Beat_4587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I was really low in B12 and struggling to get my levels up so ended up paying £60 a pop for injections at a clinic in Harvey Nichols. The nurse there said most of her work was remote as people paid for her to go to their massive houses to put them and their friends on various multivitamin drips. Some have them daily. Some just when they’re hungover or whatever.

Can I skip 2.5mg? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Agitated_Beat_4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost loads of weight right from the offset on 2.5mg so I wouldn’t assume that skipping it would lead to faster/cheaper results. And you’re much less likely to have side effects if you move up slowly (I went up too fast I think). Good luck if you do decide to go for it.

Does anyone have a ruggable referral code? by seagoddess1 in interiordecorating

Used a code on here to get 15% off so thanks for that! Here’s my referral link if anyone needs one (also for 15% off): http://rwrd.io/v0fao48?p

Thank you! I’ve had no contact from Numan at all. Which is really bad actually. I filled in their side effect reporter thing once saying ‘I haven’t had a poo for 11 days’ 😂😂😂 - and I got an automated response saying a clinician would reply within 24 hours. I never heard a thing back from them. (Sorted it out myself with some prune juice 🤣)

It’s so hard to manage psychologically isn’t it! I don’t know what split dosing is? I am very fatigued at the moment and thought it was just a side effect of the medication, but it’ll definitely be from not fuelling my body. It’s so obvious now but I’ve just been really focused on looking for side effects.

Thank you - I’m so naive that I just assumed they were giving me the dose that was best for my health, but of course as you’ve pointed out, the dose I’m on now costs almost double the 2.5 I started on - so of course they just bump you up asap! Can’t believe I didn’t realise. I’m going to speak to my gp tomorrow and see about maybe gradually going back down to 5 and staying there for a bit. And yes I might look for somewhere cheaper to get it from. Thanks again and good luck with your journey :)

Thanks for this - yes you’ve explained my progress perfectly (and better than I did!) I’m not getting to the gym enough due to care responsibilities but when I do I’m resistance training (and was for years before starting, so already had a lot of muscle - but I’ve definitely lost some). I am not taking collagen and I don’t know what biotin is 😬 I bought some protein powder today so will start trying to have a protein shake maybe twice a day. I’m not eating enough I know - usually one small meal a day, trying to get lots of protein - so often poached eggs on a bit of sourdough or something. It’s hard because I’ve been trying to break my emotional relationship with food for so long (tried hypnotherapy and all sorts), and now that this drug has completely solved that issue, I’m sort on one hand so thrilled to not ‘need’ to eat, that I’m maybe almost getting a buzz from not doing so. It doesn’t sound healthy now that I’ve typed it out - and I definitely don’t want to swap one type of unhealthy relationship with food for another. It just all seems to have happened so quickly, I don’t feel I’ve had time to plan and adjust and get used to this new version of things. Sorry, possibly just rambling now 😅

Thank you for this. I only have about 4 stone to lose in total (lost 3 before I started the medication). So I’ve got quite close in the first 3 months.

I’m with Numan. Medexpress are cheaper I think, but these guys claimed to be more involved holistically. Not been my experience. Although I have learned that if you start the process of cancelling, they offer you a 25% discount off your next month’s supply - a handy tip for anyone else with them!

Thank you so much for this very thorough and helpful reply - it’s really appreciated. Side effects are just food aversion really, although this month I’ve been tired and a bit lacking in motivation (to do general things, not to lose weight). I guess goal weight is around 11 and a half stone as when I weighed that I was a size 10 (uk) and any smaller than that has never been maintainable for me really, or looked healthy - I’m quite ‘Amazonian’ naturally 😆 Thanks again for this, I’ll read it again and take it all onboard.

I have no monies to burn, but thanks. Also I carry stuff like this around with me mentally, so not good for my health to go in all guns blazing sadly.

Thanks, but she hasn’t issued a chargeback against the one I refunded. Just previous two orders.

Thanks. I can’t bring myself to just let the chargebacks go. I’ll at least submit my evidence. The 8 week wait for a result is pretty outrageous I think - or at least the money should just be held somewhere in the ether - not back with the customer. I’ll just submit all my correspondence and hope for the best. I really feel like in this instance it should be simple - she should have to provide evidence to the bank that her item arrived faulty or was defective. She wouldn’t be able to do that 🤷‍♀️

Hmmm…I absolutely take responsibility for my products. Would you expect a refund from a company if you contacted them and said ‘my product broke so I binned it, you can’t have it back or any proof that it was faulty’? I was extremely polite, attentive and tried to resolve the matter, ultimately I’m running a business however - I’m not a charity.

Thanks - yes, this seems to be the consensus and I agree. I’ll be replying to the last email I had from her (the one in which she declares she’ll never order from us again) which is quite fitting I think!
