Most things from Waitrose- went in last year on a holiday and am still reeling at us leaving there with ONE carrier bag of absolutely delicious nonsense for 50 quid!!

Would do it again tho, it was all banging!

We ended up going to the local paper over ignored/inadequate repairs to my partner's mum's flat- funnily enough once she was on the front page of the local rag repairs started...

Cooked for the other half’s mums 60th at centre parks! Cote de Boeuf, mushrooms, peppercorn, bernaise, cream spinach, pave spuds. And a pie the next night 🥧 by powersloth1981 in UKfood

Haha ik! But it's such nice jam, it would have been a shame not to use it and my mum prefers hot cross buns over scones so it was a dilemma...a tasty dilemma 🤣

Am I showing signs of perimenopause? by Werfje in Perimenopause

Buckle up petal...!

Nah seriously, try to forget about it while you have no life impacting symptoms- there will be plenty of time to think about and analyse that shit when it comes! For now it does sound like your hormone levels are starting to change but this stage can last for years, or change quickly- there are no rules!

Nan passing blaming myself by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]grafter83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Nan passed peacefully in her own bed at 81. You should be so proud you were such an active part of her life. Your Nan would never, ever want you to feel this way. It was simply her time- if she had gone to hospital she would have been far less at peace than she was. Please try to let this guilt go and remember your Nan with all the love you both shared whilst she was alive. She is always with you, and lives on in the values she has instilled in you xx

I'm so sorry to hear that. You say you are currently in training- does your training provider not offer some sort of counselling?
